WHAT IS A MEDIUMSHIP READING?
A psychic medium is able to connect with the Other Side, to those who have passed. This is done in different ways, and each medium has their own way of receiving information. Sometimes it is hearing, feeling, sensing, seeing, smelling, touching an object, or just a "knowing". Most of the time, we do not know who it is coming through to us. They could make it much easier by just saying, "Hi I'm Joe and I'm here to connect with...."...but it doesn't happen that way...at least not very often.
1. If you are wanting to experience a reading, we suggest that you come with no expectations. You may want to connect with a specific person or pet, but an old friend, neighbor, or relative may show up instead. Be open to them all...whoever chooses to come through. We do not "call spirit"...it is up to spirit to come to us. We have found that if YOU ask the person you wish to contact to come through to one of us, very often it will happen. You need to understand that until you and the spirit are ready for this contact...it won't happen. So be patient!!! Don't give up if after 2-3 times of being in chat.
2. The reader will begin getting information, names, dates, references to places or events, and it is up to you as the readee to validate this information. Nearly all the information that is being given needs to be true and for you. Sometimes we will be given information you cannot validate, but everything else fits. Most times, the information that you could not validate, will be confirmed by another family member after the reading. Spirit is not vague, Spirit is VERY specific. We cannot emphasize that enough. After a good reading you should walk away with no doubt as to who it was that came through. We encourage you to answer simply yes, no or I don't know to the information being given by the reader. Don't "feed the reader" by giving additional information. It is hard sometimes because folks get excited and are nervous, but it may taint the reading, and it could lose it's integrity and flow if you give details. Let the reader and your loved one do their "jobs"...after the reading is over, you can comment, or explain if you wish.
3. Understand that our loved ones come through with their own agendas. You may wish to connect with your brother and have him give you specific information about the accident that caused his passing. He may come through, but he may not provide any specific information about the details of his passing. Or your uncle may come through with a specific message for his children, or spouse. It is our experience that once folks pass, it does not matter to them about their passing, the details. They are more intent on letting us know they are FINE...are still around us, and that their love for us continues. Sometimes we can ask questions of Spirit and receive an answer, sometimes not.
4. We believe that folks should not seek reading after reading after reading. This is not a healthy thing. Once or twice every six months is more than enough. Readings are not a substitute for grieving. It will not bring back your loved one, or change what has happened. The grieving process must progress...so that you can move on in life.
5. We also believe that there is MUCH to be learned and received when we listen to readings for others. The incredible process that we witness, and experience, even though not for us...can indeed have a major impact on how we think, feel, and believe. Sometimes the messages are not just for the reader...but for others in the room as well.
6. Our chats are open to everyone and we are open to allowing other readers to give freely of their abilities in our room. There is a variety of levels of readers, from seasoned to just learning and everyone inbetween. So please be aware of this. Also, it is strictly forbidden for a reader to solicit in our room for paid readings. There are too many good readers who join us so, do not feel pressured in anyway to pay for a reading...it is simply not necessary.
