Test Chatroom only...not active yet. Please go to Links for the current chatroom site at Buzzen until this site is active.

The first link below is for Java Chat. Most users will be able to access chat in this mode. When you enter the chatroom, in the lower right corner is a box where you type in your nick name and hit enter. Your nick will then appear on the list.

The second link is for WebTV and MacIntosh users. When the first screen appears, clear the box and type your nick...then hit enter.

We will also be providing login information for those who use Mirc.

This is the link to install the Mirc program (click on Mirc.exe). Once installed, it will install an icon on your desktop. Click it to sign in. This is a freeware program...even though they ask you to register and pay...don't...just wait a moment for the Continue button to become active and click it.

On the next screen, type in your nickname, email address, nickname (again), and alternative nickname (if your first choice is taken).

Next, on the right hand menu...click Server. Click the Add button that appears. Under description...type the following:
chatuniverse.random server. The next box (IRC Server) type: IRC.chatuniverse.net Port box should show 6667. In the Group box, type CrossingOver2. Then click ADD, then OK. This information will all be saved...so when you connect each time, it will automatically be there and you simply hit: Connect. Within a minute or so the chat screen will come up, along with a box that you want to close out. Now you will type: /join #crossingover2 and you will enter the chatroom. This is a tricky program...but works really well when it is set up and you are familiar with it.
